There are some new additions to my sewing room thanks to a couple of early Christmas presents …
My ever resourceful Dad made the wonderful ribbon holder for me, which I absolutely love! (that goes for the ribbon holder and my Dad by the way 🙂 ).
I was going to wait until I had painted it before I showed you, but I just couldn’t wait! Isn’t it fab?
And my lovely Mum (who knows me only too well) gave me this fun little plaque for my wall

What lovely parents you have, they’re lovely gifts. I got an early gift of 8 fat quarters of spotty fabrics from one of my brothers, so I’m very happy to. X

Thank you Susan! I have seen these ribbon holders made from up-cycled french wine boxes and they look really super but they are quite pricey. I would like to be able to paint the words ‘Sewing Room Secrets’ on the bottom of this one, but I will have to think about how best to do it first. I’m also hoping to carve out a little time to knit your latest ‘Winter Mice’ pattern very soon. Best wishes for a lovely Christmas with your girls. Natalie x
